About Rob
Rob joined the Dallas International University family in 2022 as the Controller with the financial team. Prior to this, he worked in various industries to include retail, government, construction, aerospace, food services, and commercial/residential real estate development. His accounting career started by serving at various military locations all around the world. Rob served in Desert Shield/Storm as a civilian to help meet the troops’ daily demands to both account for and deliver the needed PX/BX merchandise to the armed forces inside Saudi Arabia/Kuwait.
He has a BS in Accounting from IU at Bloomington, Indiana; MBA at the University of Texas at Arlington and holds a CPA license in IN and TX. He has continued to represent the general public over three decades. His passion to give representation to all have been a lifetime accomplishment in addition to investing in his Hoosier hometown where he grew up.
Interesting Facts
Rob became an Eagle scout in 1981 and has enjoyed outdoor wonders such as Philmont Scout Ranch twice.
He met his Filipino wife in Germany while studying abroad in 1992, and they have three grown daughters. They met in church listening to a German preacher, where they were both exchange students in Saarbruecken. Rob and his wife together serve international students on the UT-Arlington campus today.
Rob loves to restore houses for low income families and has saved many single family homes built as early as 1899 from collapse in Indiana where he grew up. Otherwise, you might see him at the local sportsman’s club shooting some archery or fishing with an international student.
