About Debbie
I have been married to Steve Miller for 33 years. We have three boys, Daniel, Zach and Isaac. They are all married to wonderful wives. We have been with Wycliffe since 1999 and moved to Texas in March of 2001. We served at the SIL International Center until August of 2014. I had many roles: wife, mother, teacher, Youth leader, Church Youth leader, and Assistant Chaplain.
We went to Papua New Guinea in 2014 after our youngest graduated from high school. I served in the Member Care Office where I debriefed, coached others, listened to others, and prayed. I also learned about helping others with Career Guidance.
We came home for furlough in 2018 and stayed so that Steve could finish his Master’s at Dallas International University which he accomplished in 2019. I served with Wycliffe Bible Translators in the Career Development Department and with the Spiritual Development Department. I learned a lot about helping others in a holistic way; spiritually, mentally, physically and emotionally.
We returned to PNG in 2019 and ended up back in the states in June of 2020. I am helping out part time in the Spiritual Vitality Department with Wycliffe USA and part time as a Chaplain with Dallas International University.
My heart is to help others walk through life physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually well.
