Cynthia joined the Dallas International team in March 2022. As Director of Recruiting, she supervises the recruiting of students for admission into Dallas International University (DIU). Thoughtful and detail-oriented, she is well suited to completing the task with care and efficiency.
Cynthia has a passion for helping others achieving their goals and accepting their God-given purpose. After completing 8 years in the U.S. Army in a Combat Support Hospital Unit, Cynthia pursued her B.A. degree in Psychology & Social Welfare at The University of Alabama. She then worked with the university as a Recruitment Coordinator on a grant-funded project to show the correlation of psychosocial therapy in seniors with and without caregivers in rural, underserved areas. After spending almost 4 years in this role, she continued her education journey at Troy State University Montgomery, AL, completing in Master’s of Science degree in Human Resources Management.
Cynthia has worked in staffing & development, marketing & directing, and college recruiting. In her last role, Cynthia worked in Project Management & Marketing at Southwestern Imaging in Spring, Texas. To add to her varied experience, she worked at a 4th grade Reading & Writing Teacher at Newman International Academy.
Throughout her journey, she founded a nonprofit organization, Tower of Faith Outreach, Inc., which focuses on building strong families through faith & works. The organization was birthed in response to her almost losing her brother in a tragic accident that placed him on a ventilator. Although he has made a full recovery, Cynthia still acts as the Executive Director and has ongoing programs that serve families and communities for over 11 years.

* She is a wife of over 22 years to Otis Hunter, III, who was her 7th grade sweetheart.
* She has 2 beautiful teenage daughters: Jessika (14) and Kelsi (13).
* She enjoys traveling and spending quality time with extended family & friends.
* She enjoys hiking & running, but loves chocolate chip cookies more!
* She wants to learn to speak fluent Spanish.
