About Abigail
Abigail came to DIU in 2018 from Mid-Atlantic Christian University. As part of the cooperative program between MACU and DIU, she spent her senior year taking the Certificate in Applied Linguistics at DIU, which also counted towards her B.A. in Applied Linguistics and Biblical Studies at MACU. While completing her BA and Certificate here at DIU, she fell in love with the community on campus. She continued on towards an M.A. in Applied Linguistics, which she is currently working on at a very unhurried pace.
Abigail plans to work overseas doing linguistic analysis, as well as ministering to people relationally wherever she is. She enjoys drawing, spending time with friends, and reading layman-level books on neurobiology and relational psychology. She also picked up a knitting habit a couple years ago, and will always choose a challenging pattern over a simple one. Fun fact: she has read The Lord of the Rings at least seven or eight times (she lost count a few years ago).
