Your gift to Dallas International University may be doubled, or more, if you work for, or are otherwise associated with, a company with a matching gift program. We currently receive matching gifts from JP Morgan and from the Exxon Mobile Corporation. Here’s how you can take advantage of this great opportunity to leverage your support:
- Check the list below to see if your company participates and, if so, at what level and what conditions apply. While we try to keep this list up-to-date company policies may have changed.
- Obtain a matching gift form from your personnel office.
- Many companies match the gifts of retirees, members of their boards of directors, or even spouses in addition to employees. Some require a minimum donation or may limit the amount they will match. And some may require the donor to be an alumnus or a parent of a current student at Dallas Int’l. Consult the key at the top of the list to make such determinations.
Some companies not listed here, such as the subsidiaries of these parent companies, may also match gifts of employees and other associates. If you are unsure if your company will match your gift, please check with your personnel office. Perhaps you can initiate such a program at your company.
While DIU is a faith-based institution that is Christ centered and student focused, our accreditation with the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) and our IRS 501(c)3 status means that we are considered an educational charity rather than a religious charity. This is important for many matching gift programs.
Thank you for making this extra effort—and for supporting the education of students who will make an impact in the remotest parts of the world through, language development, literacy and Bible translation.
