Dallas International University is excited to announce full funding of the Eduard Alekseyev Endowed Scholarship for World Arts! Thanks to the generosity of people like you $30,000 has been raised. This $30,000 will be doubled by the donors who issued the matching challenge, giving a total of $60,000 in the endowment.
The Alekseyev Scholarship provides tuition support to qualified DIU students who, prior to studying within the World Arts Program, have demonstrated through fieldwork that they possess an outstanding potential for serving cross-culturally as a World Arts Specialist. Thank you for giving so that we can continue providing high-quality training that makes a worldwide impact!
It is fitting that this endowment honors the work of Dr. Eduard Alekseyev for his many contributions to the field. Dr. Alekseyev is pictured here (on the left) with Dr. Robin Harris at an exhibit featuring his Fieldwork Collection at Harvard University’s Loeb Music Library on Oct 22.
