The International Council of Ethnodoxologists (ICE), one of the partners of the Center for Excellence in World Arts, has collaborated with the International Orality Network in producing a volume of the Orality Journal focused exclusively on the use of ethnoarts in oral contexts.
Contributions from the Dallas International community include articles by Wendy Atkins (student), Geinene Carson (guest lecturer in Expressive Form Analysis), Katie Hoogerheide (faculty), Scott Rayl (student), and Pete Unseth (faculty). The journal volume was guest edited by Katie Hoogerheide and James R. Krabill (board member of ICE).
Look for a second Arts & Orality journal volume later this year.
