Suzanna Voss

CEWA Advisory Board Member

Suzanna has attended Northwest Bible Church in Dallas, Texas, for over 30 years and serves on a ministry team responsible for bringing glory to God through visual arts engagement, not only on the church campus but also at the campus of its local missions outreach to refugees, the Northwest Community Center. Also, Suzanna enjoys serving as a mentor to women in the church MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) program and the Heart2Heart mentoring ministry. One of her most rewarding commitments is involvement on the leadership board and the prayer team for an annual church mission trip to rural Guatemala which she has been a part of since 2007.

Suzanna enjoyed many years of homeschool teaching and later, she transitioned into a position performing intensive instruction, diagnostic testing, program pacing/management, and peer mentoring at a company specializing in helping remediate reading and reading comprehension deficits for students.

Recently, Suzanna became certified as a training facilitator through the Trauma Healing Institute program in order to become better equipped in addressing the needs of the church and the community. To her, emotional healing can be experienced most fully when mental health fundamentals, scriptural truths, and creative expression are all applied to support hurting people in a broken world.

Suzanna graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Music degree in Harp Performance. She is married to Ed, and they are blessed to have three children, a son-in-love, a daughter-in-love, and one grandson.
