DIU partners with Biblical Byways to bring you in-person to study and tour the major sites of biblical events. As you explore the lands traveled by Abraham and Jesus, you will learn about the history, culture, and religion of ancient Judaism and early Christianity in a fresh and memorable way. Along the way, you will fellowship and share your experiences with dozens of fellow travelers in the group.
Places you will visit include:
Each trip costs $3550 plus airfare.
Your $3550 fee includes the tour, Hotel (3 or 4 star), meals, and any fees or tickets required at tourist sites.*
A $200 non-refundable deposit is due with registration.
Final payment is due April 1, 2023.
*Does not include tuition and fees for those taking the tour as part of a DIU graduate or undergraduate course or airfare.
Fill out the registration form and pay the deposit by the final deadline (April 1, 2023). After you register, Biblical Byways will take it from there.
*If you are taking the study tour as part of a DIU course, enrollment in the course must be done in addition to registering with Biblical Byways.
Biblical Byways will contribute a portion of its revenue to a need-based scholarship fund to support students who want to take the study-tour as part of their education at DIU.

This study tour is open to anyone, but you can also earn undergraduate or graduate credit! Application to DIU (or prior acceptance) is required, along with tuition and fees.

Graduate credit: IS5320 Bible Lands Study Tour
To take this Study Tour for undergraduate or graduate credit:
1. Start with applying for DIU Gateway admission.
2. After acceptance, register for IS3320 (Undergraduate) or IS5320 (Graduate).
3. Submit the Biblical Byways registration and deposit before the final deadline: April 1, 2023.
After you register, Biblical Byways will manage the tour, and DIU will manage the course.
