Failure to complete one or more of the requirements listed below by its deadline (“last day”) shown may delay your entry or reentry into DIU.

DIU practices “rolling admissions”, which allows students to apply for admission any time of the year and be considered for admission once all needed documents have been submitted. Deadlines are based on a student’s intended entry term at DIU.

An application or acceptance to DIU is generally considered “good” for the original intended term of entry and the following two years. If you find you cannot begin classes at DIU before this period ends, please contact DIU Admissions to ask if a new application will need to be submitted.

DIU Financial Aid is awarded for a period covering a full year that begins with May term and ends with Spring semester the following year. Financial Aid awards expire at the end of each Financial Aid award year. A new Financial Aid application is required to request aid for each award year.

For all students NEW to Dallas International

For FORMER students RETURNING to Dallas International

Any student who has not been enrolled at DIU for at least one calendar year will need to be re-entered as a student by the following deadlines before their first term back. Students who have had a DIU enrollment within one calendar year of the start of their desired next term of enrollment do not need to be re-entered. A new application form is not needed unless a student desires a different admission status.
