Gateway Admission

Applicants interested in taking just a few courses at Dallas International University (up to 10 semester hours) may choose to complete the Gateway application. This streamlined application process does not require submission of test scores or letters of recommendation–just a few simple steps.

Applicants who desire to participate in an academic program at DIU must apply for Undergraduate or Graduate admission.

Gateway students who complete their allowed credits and wish to take more courses will need to complete the requirements for Undergraduate or Graduate admission before continuing their studies at Dallas International. See our Change Admission Status page for more information.

The Gateway Application form can be completed online in just a few minutes. Once the application form has been submitted, proceed through the application steps below.

Dallas International University requires an official copy of at least one transcript showing classes completed, grades attained, and degree(s) (or diploma) granted which shows an appropriate level of education for the course(s) the student wishes to take as a Gateway student. Ideally, transcripts should show the highest level of schooling you have completed so far.

Transcripts should come directly to DIU from the school itself or be in an unopened, signed and sealed envelope which you received directly from the school.

Electronic transcripts sent by the school are acceptable as long as the school recognizes them as official. Those may be sent to admissions@diu.edu.

If using regular mail instead, schools should direct transcripts to
